Blind Chickens See Again

By Christopher Rozitis, crozitis@vsb.bc.ca

Here is an activity that uses a podcast "Blind Chickens See Again" from the CBC Radio show Quirks and Quarks (May 27, 2006).

Students can download the podcast at home or you can have the students listen to it in a small group or as a whole class. The students listen to the podcast, answer about 17 questions and you go for coffee and come back in ten minutes. You do not need any special technology...all you need is an Internet connection. This activity could be used before or after dissecting the cow's eye in Science 8. Please let me know what you think. Also, let us know if there are any other useful podcast. Create an activity and send it to crozitis@vsb.bc.ca and we'll get it into our next newsletter.

There are two files that are available as a MS Word document or a Adobe PDF document. One for the student...that's the one with no answers and one for the teachers.
