BCTLA

By Heather Daly, The Bookmark Senior Editor

The British Columbia Teacher-Librarians' Association produces a professional journal, The Bookmark, three times a year.   The Bookmark issues are quite substantial, featuring articles, reports, units, and book reviews.  Also included is "New on the Net" by John Goldsmith, a guide to new websites of note.  The Bookmark is always looking for contributions, and anyone is welcome to submit materials for publication.  Submission information is available at http://www.bctf.ca/BCTLA/bmsubmissions.html

Recent issues of The Bookmark have been made available online at http://www.bctf.ca/bctla/bookmark.html.  The upcoming issue will be on the theme of Technology, featuring articles on RSS, online databases, wikis, ICTI Performance Standards, and Web 2.0, in addition to a unit around the Graduation Portfolio.  Please feel free to visit The Bookmark on the BCTLA website.
